Jessica works with clients in both private and public sector, and specializes in working with adults suffering from addiction and depression, as well as those who have suffered from substance abuse, both for their own addictions and for the addiction to alcohol or other substances.
Jessica was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at an early age. Because her disease can manifest itself in mood swings and cycles, Jessica began taking prescription antidepressants when she was 18 years old. She began to develop a dependence on those medications and began to feel depressed and anxious because of it. She was also having suicidal thoughts. Jessica decided that she had enough of the medications and wanted to become sober.
Jessica has been a member of many different groups and organizations over the years, and is now a registered member of the American Association of Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She is also a certified Clinical Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her career is not only centered on substance abuse and addiction, but she is a passionate advocate for many different causes and has taken part in many different projects in the community in order to help her fellow human beings.
