Olivia Ann Fadul is a licensed therapist in Huntsville, AL, and she practices both in an office and at home. In a phone interview with me she discussed her philosophy on how to provide her clients with the best possible support when they are facing a stressful situation, or at least as close to the situation as is humanly possible. She also gave us some information about her practice, and whether or not her work is limited to one area or if she works across a variety of areas. Here is what she had to say:

I am a Licensed Certified Tradesperson in the state of Alabama, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. Both my certifications are from the Association of Professional Trainers in Marriage and Family Therapy (APMT). I have been in counseling for 15 years and have a Masters Degree in Social Work from The Graduate Theological Union, a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of New Mexico, and a Master of Social Work from The New School for Social Service Education. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, families, and communities.

As a Licensed Tradesperson, Olivia Ann Fadul does not practice her profession in a clinical setting, but instead she works in an administrative capacity to assist clients in making necessary decisions in regard to the kind of support they need. She provides a consultation in which clients meet with their therapists to discuss various concerns and to develop a plan of action. Her main focus is to ensure that each client receives the proper amount of help and assistance, and to ensure that he/she is able to find and maintain a healthy relationship with his/her therapist. She focuses on helping people get through life’s challenges on their own terms, rather than in the way that their family wants them to be. Olivia Ann Fadul’s practice offers an array of other services as well. These include life coaching, drug treatment, elder care, marriage and family therapy, and the work of an agency that helps to prepare clients for life after recovery.
