Jutta von Buchholtz is an addiction and substance abuse therapist. He is a licensed professional counselor, PhD, MA, and LPC licensed counselor. He is the founder of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. He is also the author of the book Recovering from a Chemical Dependency. He is the founder of the JVBT (Joint Vision Therapy and Substance Abuse Treatment) group in Birmingham, AL. He is a member of the American Association of Drug and Alcohol Programs and has been a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine since 2007.
Jutta von Bachholtz believes that each individual should have a “personal responsibility” to their family, friends, and society. He has helped countless clients overcome addictions and become drug and alcohol free. His clients have overcome a wide range of addictions such as alcohol, drugs, eating disorders, gambling addiction, pornography addiction, online gaming addiction, and more. Some of his clients have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education, a Masters Degree in Counselor Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and a Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education. There are over ten centers he has operated that offer treatment for clients with addictions and substance abuse problems.
Jutta von Buchholtz has had extensive training in the areas of addiction treatment and social work. He was a licensed therapist for twenty years, specializing in clinical and counseling psychology. He has also had extensive training and experience in addiction treatment through the National Council for Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. Jutta is certified as a counselor in both the state of Alabama and Florida. He has also worked as a therapist for the city of Birmingham, AL since 1997. and is an active member of several community organizations. He is committed to helping others achieve freedom from addiction.
